Lost in Play Duck-Flag Puzzle Tutorial

| |

Playing Lost in Play is fun and if you’re like me you probably got stuck at the Duck-Flag puzzle for some time.

it’s your lucky day, I’m here to give you a step-by-step tutorial on how to solve the puzzle on your first try.

In order to finish the Duck-Flag puzzle you need to get to the flag with the duck that has a cap on. Once it has the flag you need to return to the start point with it and the others as well.

Keep in mind the energy is transferable so you can give it from one to another only if they are side by side. Once you reach the starting point with the flag and the ducks, you won the mini-game so you can keep playing.

I’ve put a number on each duck, from 1 to 4 starting from the top one so it’s easier to explain each move I made to finish it.

  • Move Duck No. 1 once to the left.
  • Move Duck No. 2 once to the left.
  • Move Duck No. 3 once to the left.
  • Move Duck No. 4 once to the left.

So now all are on the first row in front of them.

  • Select Duck No. 1 to share energy with Duck No. 2 once.
    • Now Duck No. 1 has 50 and Duck No. 2 has 100.
  • Select Duck No. 4 to share energy with Duck No. 3 once.
    • Now Duck No. 4 has 50 and Duck No. 3 has 100.
  • Move Duck No. 2 once to the left.
  • Move Duck No. 3 once to the left.

Now Duck No. 2 and No. 3 are in front on the second row, and No. 1 and No. 4 stayed behind on the first row.

  • Select Duck No. 3 to share energy with Duck No. 2 once.
    • Now Duck No. 3 has 50 and Duck No. 2 has 100.
  • Move Duck No. 2 twice to the left to get to the flag.
  • Now move Duck No. 2 twice back to the right until it reaches Duck No. 3.
  • Select Duck No. 3 to share energy with Duck No. 2 once.
    • Now Duck No. 3 has 25 and Duck No. 2 has 25 (it had 0 before).
  • Move Duck No. 2 once to the right.
  • Move Duck No. 3 once to the right.

Now all ducks are on the same row, the first row from the Starting point.

  • Select Duck No. 1 to share energy with Duck No. 2 once.
    • Now Duck No. 1 has 25 and Duck No. 2 has 25.
  • Select Duck No. 4 to share energy with Duck No.
    • Now Duck No. 4 has 25 and Duck No. 3 has 25.
  • Move all Ducks to the right once to reach the Starting point and finish the game.

Conclusion

Comgrats on solving the Duck-Flag puzzle on Lost in Play, I’m sure it wasn’t too difficult to follow up my tutorial.

I enjoy all the puzzle in this game because they are so different from each other and also from regular puzzle/adventure type games.

Let me know if you have difficulties with any more mini-games or puzzle as you play Lost in Play. I’ll gladly write a full tutorial about the easiest way to get them done.

  1. Thanks so much! After days of trying and almost giving up trying to win the Duck Race in the Lost In Play game on my iPad (which I just LOVE, BTW), I was finally able to win the flag and bring all the duckies safely back to shore, due to your help!
Now I’m trying to figure out how to get brother out of the whale’s belly. I am guessing it has to do with getting the worm onto the old fisherman’s hook by sister turning barnacle fishes underneath the boat in some kind of order to attract the worm with electricity but no matter what combination I try, it doesn’t work. The combination in the book I found is not helpful either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • Hello Lori,
Have you managed to get the firefly in the bottle? and use it to look in the book with it and see the numbers on the fishes drawn there?
The fishes, if you position them from left to right according to their numbers, will get together and form one big fish that catches the worm.
Now the worm is electrified and you need to feed it to the whale so it reaches the brother. The brother gives it to the old man again and he catches a fish.
I’m not going to spoil it for you further. Let me know if you need more help.
