Evolving your Pokemon in Cobblestone is important for making them stronger and helping you defeat other Pokemon.
To evolve your Pokemon, level it up until it’s ready to evolve, interact with it to open its menu, select ‘Evolve’ from the bottom left side, and then select the evolution from the right side.
In this guide, I will explain how to evolve Pokemon in Minecraft Cobblemon, including normal and special evolutions.
If you’re focusing on a single one, check out my previous guide on How to Get All Eeveelutions in Cobblemon.
How to Evolve Normal Pokemon in Cobblemon

To evolve a Pokemon, it will have to fulfill its evolution requirements. For most Pokemon, the requirements simply involve reaching a certain level. For instance, starter Pokemon evolve at levels 16 and 36.
After reaching the required level, you’ll see a message in the chat box below saying “X seems ready to evolve!”, where ‘X’ will be the name of your Pokemon.
To evolve your Pokemon in Cobblemon, interact with it to open the status menu and select ‘Evolve’ from the bottom left corner. Then, a new tab will open on the right side where you’ll see the evolution. Select it and click ‘Evolve’ again.
This will cause your Pokemon to evolve instantly.
How to Evolve Special Pokemon in Cobblemon

However, there are many Pokemon in Cobblemon that cannot evolve simply by leveling up. Instead, they required specific items to evolve.
In these cases, you can evolve these special Pokemon by right-clicking on them while holding their required item.
For instance, to evolve Eevee into Vaporeon, you’ll need to right-click on it while holding a Water Stone. Similarly, to evolve a Haunter into Gengar, simply right-click on it while holding a Link Cable.
Water Stones can be gained while mining, while Link Cables are rare drops from Pokemon that evolve via trade (Haunter, Machoke, Kadabra, and more).
