South Park: Phone Destroyer Special Deal Offer – Should You Take It?

| |

A short while after starting the game, you will receive a special deal in South Park: Phone Destroyer, a limited time offer that seems to give you a ton of goodies for a fair price. But this true? Should you take the Big offer as it is called in the game or play without playing?

Just to make sure that we have things set straight, here is the special deal offer that I am talking about:

As you can see, the offering is really sweet. Here is what you get for the 450 Cash:

– 12 cards (out of which 3 are Rare or rarer and 3 of these are featured in the special event)
– 20 bronze and 6 silver upgrade items
– 750 coins

All these cost you 450 Cash. That is a bit under $4.99 – since the Pile of Cash gives you 500 Cash for $4.99

So… is it worth getting the Big Offer deal in South Park Phone Destroyer?

If you’re serious about playing the game and you don’t mind spending a bit of money, then yes – it is worth it as you are getting great value for your money.

This gives you a massive boost early on and helps you get a better deck and better cards. It won’t skyrocket you to the top league, but it will surely make the ride there a lot smoother and put you ahead of many players who decide not to get it.

You will still have to do the grinding and playing and you will most likely not feel a huge difference after getting it.

For 500 Cash, you can get in the market the Silver Card Pack which gives you 10 cards (3 guaranteed rares), 25 upgrade items (not sure how many silver, probably less) and 1,500 coins.

As you can see, the difference is not huge, but it adds up. You get 2 extra cards which are extremely valuable, 1 extra upgrade card which doesn’t really make a difference, but 750 fewer coins. However, everything costs 50 Cash more and you are guaranteed to get cards for the event, which means that it will be even easier for you to get even more packs from there.

The deal isn’t extremely solid as you would expect a Special Deal to be. But it’s the best we can get for now and I would personally recommend you to take it, especially if you enjoy the game and spend a lot of time playing it.

The difference between the Big Deal and the regular Silver Pack is not huge, but every little thing adds up. And the 50 Cash you’re putting aside after getting the deal are added to your Cash stash which should be over 100… and you’re one step closer to getting, eventually, the Silver Pack as well.

What do you think though? Is it worth taking or you’d rather wait for a better deal that offers even more bang for your buck?
