Fallon’s Fury Review

| |

It rarely happens that a promotional game is good enough to deserve a review, but Fallon’s Fury – a promo game for Warner Bros’ Jack the Giant Slayer is one of those games – a very short experience, but one you definitely have to try out!

In this game, you take control of a giant set on destruction, on his way to the castle. Although you have a pre-set route (and it’s the same each time), there’s a lot to do along the way, and this “a lot” usually consists in destroying everything in sight – innocent people, soldiers, houses and even eating livestock. A giant was never a good man!

Although incredibly short and far from being considered a full game, Fallon’s Fury still manages to deliver some great moments: except for the challenge of mastering the route and getting a score as high as possible to see your name up there on the Leaderboards, the graphics bring up the WOW-meter quite a lot. Indeed, Fallon’s Fury is one really good looking game and one can only be sad that such a nice looking game is so short and offers so few in terms of gameplay.

But at least the game is completely free and even if you want to, you can’t spend a dime to buy something, so it’s pretty safe from this point of view. It’s fun and easy to play: you move your giant by dragging on the screen and you tap to have him hit things, so it’s certainly worth at least a try. I don’t know how the movie will be (actually, it was the first time I heard about it), but if it’s as fun as the game, then we’re certainly up for a hit!
