ATTENTION READERS: If you are reading this, your reputation precedes you. You’ve spent hours scouring scenes for hidden objects, solving intricate mechanical puzzles, and connecting the dots in the world’s most complex mysteries.
We’ve been watching. And we’ve decided it’s time to put those skills to the test in the real world.
For years, AppAmped has been a safe haven for puzzle lovers. But recently, we’ve intercepted a series of “ghost transmissions” embedded in our own code.
Someone, or something, known only as “The Architect” is sending out encrypted messages. These messages are written in a strange, symbolic language that our standard software can’t crack.
We believe these messages lead to something significant. A secret mission. A hidden truth. But we can’t solve this alone.
We need a network of Field Agents to help us decrypt the messages, follow the trail of clues across our website and YouTube channel, and complete the mission.
Rules of Engagement
To maintain your status as an active agent, you must follow the protocol:
- Weekly Intel: Every week, a new “Field Report” will be published here. It will contain a piece of the story and a new puzzle.
- The Scavenger Hunt: Clues won’t always be on the page. You may need to visit a specific YouTube video or look for a “hidden object” within an old walkthrough on our site.
- Secure Submissions: To prevent “The Architect” from tracking us, never post answers in the comments. All solutions must be submitted via our secure form.
- The Code of Silence: We encourage you to discuss the puzzles, but do not give away the final answer. Spoilers will be deleted to keep the challenge alive for others.
Rewards of Service
While we cannot offer cold, hard cash (the Agency’s budget is currently “classified”), we reward our best operatives with prestige:
- The Intelligence Board: The first agents to correctly solve a week’s puzzle will have their aliases featured on our Official Hall of Fame.
- Digital Credentials: As you solve more puzzles, you will “Rank Up.” After your first successful mission, you’ll receive your Official AppAmped Agent ID.
- Influence the Mission: Occasionally, your discovery will lead to a choice. The majority vote from our agents will decide which direction the story, and the agent, goes next.
Your First Task: “The Enrollment Code”
Before we can send you into the field, we need to know you can handle the basics.
The Mission begins on January 29th. On that day, the first symbol key will be released. Your job will be to use that key to decode a short message that will lead you to an article on our page.
