Today I’ll tell you how to get more energy in SpongeBob Adventures: In A Jam because that’s the most needed resource to play the game and have fun.
After the tutorial is over the energy bar starts decreasing fast. So if you want to play the game more you have to wait for the energy 1 point every 1 minute (for a maximum of 50 energy points).
Or follow my tips below on how to get more energy in SpongeBob Adventure without wasting precious time.
How to Get More Energy in SpongeBob Adventures
The energy boost from the tutorial will be gone by the time you reach level 5. Completing quests to level up will drastically use all the saved up energy.
Here are the easiest ways to get more energy in SpongeBob Adventures: In A Jam without having to wait 1 minute for every energy point.
1. Complete Quests in SpongeBob Adventures
In order to level up you need to complete as many quests as possible. But to do that you will definitely need energy for the task each quest gives you.
As you can see, some of the quests will actually give back some of the energy you spent on doing them, so you can go and complete more quests.
2. Collect Map Items to Get More Energy
Here’s an example of how to get more energy by picking up items like the cabinet in the picture and receive a blue squid/octopus that gives you 25 energy point.
Of course there aren’t many of these cupboards and they only show up when you discover more of your map along the way. Still a good way to get some free energy.
3. Level Up
Leveling up is another great way to get all your energy bar up to max. It also unlocks more building options for you that will give you more XP and some of these buildings provide ways of getting more Energy.
4. Complete Order Board to Get More Energy
You can find this building early on while still in the tutorial phase. You have to get the items requested on the board in order to get the rewards that often include an energy boost.
All the rewards are worth it so keep an eye on the board to make sure you complete the orders and get your rewards.
5. Use the Sugar Squeeze Machine to Get a Lot of Energy in SpongeBob Adventures
You can buy the Sugar Squeeze Machine early on the game for 4,000 gold coins. You can exchange all the sweets you find on your map especially on the Jellyfish Fields, like candy bags and jelly sandwiches.
The sweets you get from these can be easily exchanged to get more energy, even past the max 50 points bar.
Some sweets are better than others, but harder to get, so just keep your eyes peeled for any sweet delicacies so you can exchange it for that sweet energy boost you need.
Keep gathering these items so you can exchange them later for Energy points.
6. Candy Vending Machine
Another building that will produce you energy in the Bikini Bottom area is the Candy Vending Machine, that I will unlock after level 7 and only costs 2,000 coins.
Same as the Sugar Squeeze Machine it uses resources to fill up the bar and make energy points for you to use, 70 points at a time, before it needs to cool off.
7. House of Games and Free Energy Rewards
You can gain energy rewards in SpongeBob Adventures by playing merge mini-games in the House of Games.
The number of spawns is limited (40 every hour) and you can only play one level every 4 hours.
Pro tip: Spawn all the items before sending the last required item to complete the level, that way, all the remaining items will convert into additional rewards.
Then once the level is over keep spawning and merging so when another level is ready to be played you already have part of the items needed.
8. Crystal Dave and Energy Rewards
You can discover the Crystal Dave building in the Jellyfish Fields. You don’t need to build it, just clean it up and it’s yours.
Here you can exchange certain items that you find along the way, but that are not easy to get otherwise.
Certain chests will contain these special items so when you find some you go to Crystal Dave and exchange them for energy points or money.
9. Complete the Adventure Challenges
This is the yellow bucket in the bottom left corner of the Jellyfish Fields. Tap on it to see the challenges you need to complete to get your energy rewards.
If you focus your attention on gathering the resources shown there you can get your hands on free energy rewards and more.
10. Daily Rewards Can Give You More Energy
Each day you spend playing the game can give you extra rewards just for opening the game. These rewards can be energy points, and the amount you get is a bit random.
11. The Dutchman’s Treasure Event
Spin the wheel for free and get random rewards that can consist of energy points that you get if you complete the tasks required.
Once a day you get a free spin, and each day comes with new tasks you need to complete before getting your prize.
12. Spend Gems to Get More Energy
You can find gems on the map, or you can watch ads or buy them with real money. The more gems you spend the more energy you get. So I suggest you wait to gather 90 gems, rather than buy scraps as fast as you can.
The shop has lots of good offers for you to buy gems with real money. So if you want to give yourself a treat I advise you to get the best deal of buying gems in SpongeBob Adventures – In A Jam.
At least if you spend money it’s best to spend it wisely.
Conclusion
Put all these methods to get more energy in SpongeBob Adventures to good use and you’ll be able to play the game longer and level up faster.
