Murder in Malibu – Part 1
Mission: Who was the last person to see Tim alive?
- Write Frey to unlock the phone (it’s on the background photo)
- Open the Messages app and look through Lynn Carter’s chats to find some hints about passwords, like the date he signed the contract.
- In Hanna Kline’s messages, you’ll find the contract with the date 0425
- Open the Photo app with that code.
- In the photos you’ll find one with the code to his door 2034
- Open the Safe Note app with that code.
- Look through the note to find the code to the Secret app 1234
- Go to the Calculator app and enter that code to see the secret conversations he had.
- In Anthony’s messages you’ll find his favourite contestant: Camila
- Go to Interflix and open the app with that name as a password (according to the notes)
- You will find the email if you open the Contact app and get a closer look at Tim Frey’s details: [email protected]
- You’ll find his favorite movie: frat bro therapist
- Open the archived messages with that password and look through Cow Girl’s chat.
- It seems like she was the last person to see him alive.

Murder in Malibu – Part 2
Mission: What is Vicky Tao’s motive?
- Open the phone by drawing a house.
- Look through the messages with Lynn about the Fodder app, and search the internet about it.
- Go to Download and get the Fodder app, then unlock it using an infinite symbol ∞.
- To open the Photos in the Fodder app, look at the News app about Vicky.
- Her favorite flower is sunflower
- Write that as a password in the Photo app.
- There’s a screenshot of an email from Pet Tracker about her pet Marshal and the tracking code M6612
- Open the Pet Tracker app and enter that code.
- All the pets are at the 4355 house number.
- Open the Calculator app with that password.
- In Camila’s messages you’ll find her pride and joy is WNSB
- Open the Notes app with that password.
- Read the poem and go to the Archived message in the Calculator app to enter the last word: vowed
- Read the messages to see what Tim did to Vicky.
Answer: blackmail

Murder in Malibu – Part 3
Mission: What is Hannah’s motive to murder Tim?
- Look through the Calendar app and find the Reminder Messages Password at 13.33
- Enter that code in the Messages app and open the Employee Payroll.
- Remember the code number HJK607, and open Work Folder with that code.
- To open the Work Docs go to messages and read the conversation with Lynn.
- Find Hannah’s alma mater in the TNX app Melenson College.
- Open the Text notes and see the hint for the Whisper password, the award year, which you can find on the photo in the background.
- Open the Calculator app and write that year 2019
- In Camila’s messages, you’ll find Hannah’s email address in her first message to her: [email protected]
- The password to open the emails found in the Voice Notes (in Work Docs) and the recording between Lynn and Hannah.
- She says her password is malibu4
- Read Angela Webber’s email and see the hint for the password to open the PDF.
- In Rowan’s email, Hannah says the only thing she loves is work.
- Open that PDF to see why Hannah was upset with Tim.

Mission: Find Camila’s motive
- To open the phone you need the password (that’s on the background photo): hard
- To open the Messages the password hint is the brand.
- In the News app, you’ll find the brand name la soie.
- Open the Messages app with that.
- In Ryan’s chat, you’ll find her email password hint “her gym name”.
- In Mom’s chat, you’ll find her email address: [email protected]
- In Avery’s chat you’ll find a hint to the LoveBook app, “her middle name”.
- In the Calendar app you’ll find her Gym name to be Elevate.
- Enter her email address and that password to open her Emails.
- In the email to herself (Me) you’ll have the hint for Notes password your baby.
- If you go to the Photo app in the Folder, you’ll find her baby’s name Clarissa (the snake)
- Go to Notes and enter that name, read la soie note about the lock document and the password being la soie’s anniversary, which is March 7th according to the News.
- Go to Folder, then to Documents and enter the code 0703
- Look at the contract to find her middle name Keira
- The Top Social email has a link to la soie fashion page, click that and scroll down to find Camila’s LoveBook ID name WildCamilaK and the password keira
- Look through her messages with Henry Frey to find Camila’s reason.
Answer: debt
Murder in Malibu – Part 5
Mission: Who killed Tim Frey?
- Open Contacts and look at Rowan’s details to find his email [email protected]
- Enter that to log in to his email account and tap on Forgot your password?
- You’ll receive a SMS with a reminder “Call of Directing year”
- In the Messages to Sissy you’ll see the hint for the password being her birthday.
- Open Reminders and find Cassie’s birthday 1229 and the Library card number 89347
- Open LA Public Library and enter those details.
- Look at the release year of the book The Call of Directing, 2021 and enter that as a password to his email.
- In Lynn’s messages she tells him that his employee number is needed for the Smart Office app.
- In the notes it says his Casual app password is his hometown, and Sissy’s email says Pella is his hometown.
- Open the Casual app and enter that password.
- Open the Messages in the Casual app and read through the group to find the hint for the Eligible Document Drive, which is his boat name.
- Look through the news feed in Casual app and click Rowan Gilmore name to go to his profile.
- Scroll down to find the name of his boat barnacle and enter Document Drive with that.
- Look at the Employee IDs to find his own 60592
- Enter that in the Smart Office app to turn on the lights.
- Look at the note on the desk in Office 2 to see the pattern to open the Videos in Document Drive.

- Look through the videos to see who killed Tim in the last video where someone steals his pills and has a bracelet that you’ve seen before in the Group chat of the Casual app.
