Probably one of the most anticipated iPhone and iPad games this month is WWE Immortals, the child of Warner Bros Interactive and NetheRealm, a WWE-inspired game with a bit of a twist. Originally described as a free-to-play mobile game that will feature epic Superstar battles in a fantastically re-imagined WWE world, very little was known about the actual gameplay and mechanics used, but since the developers were behind the insanely popular Injustice: Gods Among Us, everybody was pretty excited.
Well, today, just a few days before the announced release date for WWE Immortals which is January 15th, a really short gameplay trailer has been launched to shed some light on the game. Or at least try because, as you will see below, we still don’t get too much:
Basically, what we see here is Triple H destroying an unknown adversary in what looks a lot like a super fantasy world, but apart from that we still don’t have a lot, even though it’s pretty much clear now that WWE Immortals will indeed follow the Injustice: Gods Among Us line in terms of gameplay. Which gives us a ton of reasons to be happy!
There’s just a few days left since all the questions regarding WWE Immortals will be answered, since the game will hit the App Store on January 15th. Until then, we can hit the replay button on the video above – over and over again – and drool with anticipation.
